Game day 7

It may be late but it is half term after all! Here’s a round up of this weekends games ⚽️

The U7s went away to AC Finchley North, this was the U7s first game in the top division, they gave it their best effort but AC was a little stronger ⚽️ Austin named man of the match ⚽️

The U8s played a strong Wingate and Finchley in an early kick off, Wingate the better team on the day winning by a few ⚽️

The U9 Blue went away to AC Finchley West and put in another solid performance going into an early lead and then seeing out the game to win by a couple ⚽️ Jack named man of the match ⚽️

The U9 yellow played at home to Wingate and Finchley got back to winning ways with a comfortable win by a handful of goals ⚽️ Costa and Shay named man of the match ⚽️

The u9 Whites played London Colney Colts in a very closely matched game, both sides trying to play nice football, London Colney winning it late on ⚽️

The U10s went away to Borehamwood Crusaders in a very close game, our boys as always tried to play it out from the back, Borehamwood winning by a single goal ⚽️ Mateo named man of the match ⚽️

The U11 Blues played at home against Ommonia Green, a very even first half was all square for long periods, but our boys were too strong in the second half winning by a handful ⚽️ Leo named man of the match ⚽️

The U11 White played Global Football Flamengo at home and had a great start racing into an early lead, the boys took their foot of the pedal in the second half but went on to win by a handful ⚽️ Ash named man of the match ⚽️

The U13s went away to Borehamwood youth knights in a lunchtime Ko, another really good performance from the team ⚽️ a convincing 8-2 win and another 3 points on the board puts them top of the table ⚽️

The U14’s played at home to Alexander park north in a lunchtime Ko, another good game ended with a Desmond 2-2 ⚽️

The U15s played in a League cup classic at home to HMH Dynamo, our boys trailing for much of the game scored with a last second penalty to win 4-3 SCENES ⚽️

The U16 WFL side played Whetstone Wanderers at home and picked up a good 3 points with a convincing win that could have been by a hatful, the final score 4-1 ⚽️

The u16 Eja welcomed Potters Bar to Donkey Lane, a good game between two good sides, a couple of errors meant the side had to settle for a point in a 2-2 draw ⚽️

The U18s played at home to AEK Athens and looked to be in control, much like the 16s a few mistakes cost the side as they went on to lose 3-2 ⚽️
