Game day 7

It may be late but it is half term after all! Here’s a round up of this weekends games ⚽️

The U7s went away to AC Finchley North, this was the U7s first game in the top division, they gave it their best effort but AC was a little stronger ⚽️ Austin named man of the match ⚽️

The U8s played a strong Wingate and Finchley in an early kick off, Wingate the better team on the day winning by a few ⚽️

The U9 Blue went away to AC Finchley West and put in another solid performance going into an early lead and then seeing out the game to win by a couple ⚽️ Jack named man of the match ⚽️

The U9 yellow played at home to Wingate and Finchley got back to winning ways with a comfortable win by a handful of goals ⚽️ Costa and Shay named man of the match ⚽️

The u9 Whites played London Colney Colts in a very closely matched game, both sides trying to play nice football, London Colney winning it late on ⚽️

The U10s went away to Borehamwood Crusaders in a very close game, our boys as always tried to play it out from the back, Borehamwood winning by a single goal ⚽️ Mateo named man of the match ⚽️

The U11 Blues played at home against Ommonia Green, a very even first half was all square for long periods, but our boys were too strong in the second half winning by a handful ⚽️ Leo named man of the match ⚽️

The U11 White played Global Football Flamengo at home and had a great start racing into an early lead, the boys took their foot of the pedal in the second half but went on to win by a handful ⚽️ Ash named man of the match ⚽️

The U13s went away to Borehamwood youth knights in a lunchtime Ko, another really good performance from the team ⚽️ a convincing 8-2 win and another 3 points on the board puts them top of the table ⚽️

The U14’s played at home to Alexander park north in a lunchtime Ko, another good game ended with a Desmond 2-2 ⚽️

The U15s played in a League cup classic at home to HMH Dynamo, our boys trailing for much of the game scored with a last second penalty to win 4-3 SCENES ⚽️

The U16 WFL side played Whetstone Wanderers at home and picked up a good 3 points with a convincing win that could have been by a hatful, the final score 4-1 ⚽️

The u16 Eja welcomed Potters Bar to Donkey Lane, a good game between two good sides, a couple of errors meant the side had to settle for a point in a 2-2 draw ⚽️

The U18s played at home to AEK Athens and looked to be in control, much like the 16s a few mistakes cost the side as they went on to lose 3-2 ⚽️

As always well done to all our teams and a big thank you to all those that come out to support the teams ⚽️

Game day 6

Another lovely day for football, since the big coats came out of the back of the cupboard the weather has been pretty good, some coaches were even seen in their shorts ⚽️

U7s – had no game 😕

The U8s played Global Fc at home in another excellent game full of goals, Julian making some very good saves in goal and Jack scoring 4! our boys winning by 1 out of 11⚽️

The U9 yellows 100% winning record had to come to an end at some point and it was today in a very good game against a strong London Colney Colts ⚽️

The U9 Whites played Harvesters Scorpions at home and for the first two thirds of the game things were fairly even however Harvesters finished strongly to win by a couple ⚽️ Malaqai named man of the match ⚽️

The U9 Blues went away to Pro Football Wizards in an early Ko, another solid performance from the side as they won by a couple ⚽️ Sonny named man of the match ⚽️

The U10 played Northwood Red at home and put in their best performance of the season so far, strong in the tackle and holding their positions well, winning by a couple ⚽️ Evan named man of the match ⚽️

The U11 White played Alexandra Park North at home and put in an excellent team performance, they took their chances well and could have scored more while defending well as a team ⚽️ a good win by a couple ⚽️

The U11 Blues played St Albans east home and got of to a slow start however they grew into the game and went on to win by a couple ⚽️Tadgh named man of the match ⚽️

A Good 3-2 win for U12 v Whetstone Wanderers Tigers. Great battle and good football from both sides. Man Of The Match Dino. ⚽️

The U13 welcomed HGS academy to Donkey Lane and gave away a couple of sloppy goals but took control of the game to win 5-2 ⚽️ people of the match go to the parents who gave the team a little extra from the sideline ⚽️

The U14 played Hinton and Finchley at home in a late Ko and much like most of their games there was plenty of goals ⚽️ 4-4 a solid point which keeps them at the top of the league ⚽️

The U15s went away to Mill Hill and really dominated the first half missing a number of really good chances, the second half swung in Mill Hills favour and they took their chances ⚽️5-1 to Mill Hill ⚽️

The U16 WFL went away to Turnstyles in a tough game, a penalty with the final kick meant the points were won by our boys! 4-3 the final score ⚽️

The U16 EJA had a day to forget as they was well beaten by a good Cheshunt side⚽️

Game day 5

Another excellent day of youth football in glorious autumn sunshine!

The U7s played AC Finchley South in a lunchtime thriller, our boys raced into a lead but Finchley battled back. The town boys dug deep to win by a couple In a 12 goal thriller ⚽️ Preston (pictured with his Nan) this weeks man of the match ⚽️

The U8s went away to Whetstone Lions and put in another excellent display, scoring some really good team goals and winner by a handful ⚽️George netting 5 times Again 😳!

The U9 Whites went to Alexandra Park West in an early KO, the boys continued with their good form, closing down their opponents and creating good chances to win by a couple ⚽️some of the boys enjoyed a well deserved burger 🍔 after the game ⚽️

The U9 Blue played local rivals Enfield Rangers Black at home, the boys had practiced their shooting this week and it showed! It could have been more but they settled for a win by a handful of goals ⚽️Andrew named man of the match ⚽️

The U9 Yellows had another good performance against Enfield Rangers, a bit of a crazy 😜 game which swung both ways before our boys went on to win by a couple ⚽️

The U10s welcomed Omonia to Donkey Lane, after a slow start the team grew into the match and a strong second half meant they won comfortably ⚽️Pablo scoring a hat trick but it was Zac 👀 that picked up the man of the match ⚽️

The U11 Whites have worked hard this week and put in a solid performance and with a bit of luck the result could have been very different, however it was Whetstone that won by a couple ⚽️Josh named man of the match, the team enjoyed an after the match mc Donalds 🍔 together ⚽️

The U11 Blues welcomed Hinton and Finchley to Donkey Lane and put in another top
performance against a physically strong team winning by a couple ⚽️Joel named man of the
Match ⚽️ some work to be done on the team photo⚽️

The U12s went away to Gfa Lions and had a tough day against a good team, Lions took their goals well and won 8-2 ⚽️

The U13 went away to Belstone in another entertaining game that could have gone either way, in the end the points were shared in a 5-5 draw ⚽️

The U14s had the weekend to relax ⚽️

The U15s played Harrow Stars at Home, Harrow started and went 2 up before
Our boys battled back to level, Harrow had a little more in the final 10 mins to win 5-3⚽️

The U16wfl went away to Wingate and Finchley and picked up their first 3 points of the season in a 3-2 win ⚽️perhaps it’s the new lucky yellow kit ⚽️

The U16 Eja played Tring in the league cup, a game that saw tempers run high as the referee got a little card happy! A well earned win for our boys, 2-1 ⚽️

The U18s went away to Oakhill Tigers, 0-0 at half time with all to play for. Oakhill started the second half well and scored twice in 10 minutes to win 2-0 ⚽️

Game day 4

As most other local clubs went into meltdown, cancelling games due to the weather most of our boys were out enjoying their football! Maybe we’re made of tougher stuff ⚽️
The U7s went to Harvesters and after a difficult start they grew into the game and put Harvesters under some pressure, in the end it was the home side winning by a couple ⚽️ ⚽️
The U9 Yellows played a strong Hinton side but maintained their 100% start to the season. In a fairly even game it was our boys that took their chances winning by a couple  ⚽️
The U10s went to HGS Raiders and played their part in an absolute classic which swung both ways, our boys winning by one out of 5 ⚽️ Dylan with the hat trick deservedly named man of the match ⚽️
The U11 Whites played at home to Edgware Town, Edgware playing some nice stuff and taking their chances to win by a handful  ⚽️
The U11 Blue played St Albans Centurions in another great game which had everything including some great sliding tackles thanks to the rain! There was also some excellent goals with our boys winning by 1! Connor this weeks man of the match ⚽️
The U13s played in a top of the tableClash with Oakhill Tigers, despite the rain there was a bumper crowd and they was rewarded with a classic, a 5-3 win to the Town boys who picked up another important 3 points ⚽️
The U14s welcomed Harvesters to Donkey Lane and much like last week there was a feast of goals! Our boys taking their chances well towin 8-4 ⚽️
The U15s went away to Global football Academy, Global started strong and went 1 up just before half time, the town boys battled to the end but couldn’t find the equaliser, 2-1 the final score ⚽️
The U16 WFL went away to Omonia whites and had a tough start and then couldn’t get back into the game 4-1 the final score ⚽️
Well done to all the teams that played today ⚽️


Michael and The Enfield Town U9s football team are all set for their second season which starts later this Sunday.
The team are still looking for a Goalkeeper to complete their squad.

Enfield Town run 15 youth teams from U7s-U18s age groups with games starting 10am,11am,12noon.

Lots of 5a-side , 7a-side, 9a-side and 11a-side matches every Sunday.
Town can offer 1-2-3 games in a day and pay a separate fee for each fixture covered.
Same venue just different age groups.

Game day 3

What a day of matches as all our teams were in action! A number of coaches were seen in their big coats which lets us know winter is well on its way!

The U7s played their first ever match v London Colney Colts Lions, our boys started really well and scored some excellent goals winning by a number of goals ⚽️special mention to Freddie who will be supporting his teammates from the side lines while he recovers from a fractured ankle ⚽️

The U8s went away to London Colney Colts and after a good preseason they looked the sharper side from the start and went on to win by a couple ⚽️special mention to George who scored 5! ⚽️

The U9 Yellows were the 3rd team to play London Colney Colts this morning and the 3rd to pick up the win. It was a very even first half but our boys took control in the second half winning by a couple ⚽️Dan named man of the match ⚽️

The U9 Blue welcomed Northwood Red to Donkey Lane and put in a very good team performance creating lots and lots of chances however it ended all square with a Desmond ⚽️ Charlie named man of the match ⚽️

The U9 Whites went away to Alexander Park and put in an excellent team performance, pressing from the front and winning the ball back in dangerous places winning by 2 ⚽️Malaqai named man of the match ⚽️

The U10s went away to Enfield Rangers and by their very high standards they have had a difficult start to the season. On the day Rangers were a little stronger and won by a couple ⚽️

The U11 Whites went to the Hive to play Hendon Silver, a slow start ultimately cost them as Hendon took their chances well ⚽️

The U11 Blue played Maccabi Yellow and started well taking some good early chances, the second half was much of the same as they won comfortably ⚽️ Elias named man of the match ⚽️

The U12s played in the league cup against Whetstone Wanderers and it went all the way to penalties after a tight 1-1 draw, Whetstone progress to the next round ⚽️Pierce named man of the match ⚽️

The U13s went away to high scoring top of the table London Colney Blue in the league, an excellent performance from the team wasn’t quite enough with Colts winning 3-2 ⚽️lots and lots to feel positive about ⚽️

The U14 made possibly the longest away trip possible to play Croxley Green in an early 9am Ko! Difficult conditions meant the side couldn’t play their usual passing game and it was Croxley that took the points ⚽️7-5 the final score ⚽️

The U15 played St Albans City in the League cup and was looking to get revenge after last weeks league defeat! St Albans scored 2 long distance goals heavily assisted by the wind but it was the town boys that took control and went on to win 4-3 ⚽️

The U16 Wfl played premier division Harvesters in League cup in a very even game which went to extra time, Harvesters progressing with a 2-1 win ⚽️

The U16 Eja side played in a tough friendly against Grays, 4-1 the final score ⚽️

The U18s went to Enfield Rangers in the cup and went ahead early and looked comfortable until they gave away some late chances, fortunately they hung on to win 1-0 ⚽️

Some excellent performances from our teams today in difficult conditions ⚽️

Game day 2

A slight delay but here is your Sunday evening round up (yes I know it’s Monday 😉)

U9 Whites played in a friendly at home vs Borehamwood, 2 very evenly matched sides put on a highly entertaining game which ended all square ⚽️

U9 Blue played London Colney Jaguars, a great effort from the boys, unfortunately it was Colney who took their chances scoring a few late on to get the win ⚽️ Albert named man of the match ⚽️

U9’s Yellows player at home to Northwood Reds. Another solid display from the team saw them win by a number of goals ⚽️

U10s went away to Hinton & Finchley
Revolution Stars and put in a good performance, on the day Hinton were a little stronger winning narrowly ⚽️

U11s White played in a tough home match against Northwood, Northwood the stronger team on the day winning by a couple ⚽️

U11 Blue played Whetstone Wanderers at home, the team had a difficult first half but grew into the game to win by a couple ⚽️Hilal named man of the match ⚽️

U12s went away to St Albans City East and got their first 3 points of the season on the board with a comfortable 5-0 win ⚽️

U13s played at home against Whetstone Tigers and continued with their impressive start to the season with a fine passing performance, 7-2 the final score ⚽️

U14’s also at home played Edmonton Rangers in a lunchtime Ko, like the u13s this side have had a great start to the season and picked up another 3 points with a 5-3 win ⚽️

U15s went away to St Albans City, injuries in the warm up made things difficult, the final result 5-2 to Albans ⚽️the teams meet again next week in the cup ⚽️

U16 Wfl has a slow start which cost them, the grew into the game but it wasn’t enough, a 5-2 defeat ⚽️

U18s went to play AEK in league Cup, like the 16s they had a slow start and a late fight back wasn’t quite enough as they lost 3-1⚽️

Game day 1


A great day of football saw most of our teams in action, here is our first Sunday night review of the season ⚽️

U9 Whites v Aldenham Away – a tough opening day for our side against a good Aldenham side. The boys worked hard and battled to the end but we were beaten by a couple ⚽️

U9 Blue v Borehamwood Youth Crusaders – a fairly even game saw both sides make some good chances, Crusaders larger squad meant they had a little more energy and won narrowly ⚽️

U9’s yellows v Woodys & EBOGS – a convincing display from this new side, the team played some exciting football to win comfortably ⚽️

U10s v London Colney Colts Reds – a difficult first match of the season for this talented team, London Colney made some really good chances and was the better team on the day ⚽️

U11s White v Oakland Wolves – a very even game saw Oakland come out on top by a single goal, some expected midweek signings will make all the difference ⚽️Alex named man of the match ⚽️

U11 Blue v Edmonton Rangers Falcons – a good game with lots of exciting play from both teams ⚽️ our boys coming out on top by a couple of goals ⚽️ new boy Joel named man of the match ⚽️

U12s Home v Berkhamsted Raiders – a very strong Berkhamsted visited Donkey Lane and left with all 3 points with a convincing 8-0 win. Our boys will look to bounce back next week ⚽️

U13s v GFA Enfield Tigers – our boys progress to the next round of the league cup after a convincing 5-0 win ⚽️ the boys scoring some excellent team goals ⚽️

U14s v Alexandra Park – a really early away kick of for the team, the boys were wide awake and started well winning 2-0 ⚽️

U15s v HMH Dynamo – a lunch time Ko saw two very evenly matched sides, either side could have scored at the death but it wasn’t to be. 0-0 the final score ⚽️

U16 Eja vTring – an even first half saw Tring miss some good chances however it was our boys that went in 1 up at half time, the final score an impressive 5-0 ⚽️

U16 Wfl V Whetstone Wanderers after a nervy opening 20minutes our boys grew into the game and dominated the second half, the final score 1-1 ⚽️

U18s vs HMH Galaxy started the season with a solid performance picking up 3 points, the team went to 2-0 up, HMH got a late goal but our boys held on to win 2-1 ⚽️
